Incredible.

Westmuir street closed southbound at Crail street.  Not a workman to be seen. Diverting to Tollcross road via Crail street to traffic build up because light sequence at Parkhead cross lights have not been changed to accommodate diversion.

To compound matters start of Tollcross road down to 1 lane  at lights.

Once through lights Springfield Road closed southbound to dechmont street (adding to congestion at Parkhead cross lights!) Again not a workman to be seen.

Astonishingly at dechmont street Springfield Road opens to London road then closes again.

Wonder if there’s no workmen as it’s bank holiday Monday?

Here we go again for the umpteenth time. Another closure, unannounced and probably unofficial.

Do you know if they are allowing private hire to use the bus gate or is it just hackneys?

Initially the agenda was to ban private hire from all bus gates but not bus lanes to appease our illustrious hackney drivers.

This Is just another disruption to the people of Glasgow which would never be happening if it weren’t for the commonwealth games.
